About the product
This Piusi K90 Fuel Flow Meter has a nutating disk meter with large mechanical display for enhanced visibility to measure the quantity of fuel that has been dispensed. With a 90 degree inlet and outlet flow as opposed to traditional inline there is no the need for additional fittings, simplifying the installation. The other key benefit of this patented diesel flow meter is its high precision design, providing a minimum of 0.8% accuracy, and between 50 and 70lpm, achieving 0.6% accuracy.
There are 4 versions available depending on installation requirements as the diesel fuel flow meter body cannot be rotated (see diagram below product image for more details.
Please note: This Piusi flow meter is not threaded. Flanges are required to connect to other Piusi equipment or provide a thread.

What is a diesel fuel flow meter?
A diesel fuel flow meter, also referred to as a fuel counter, is used to measure the quantity of fluid that has been moved during the transfer or dispensing process. They have a visual display, which can be either mechanical or digital, for the user to read off the measurement. In the instance of a refuelling application, the diesel fuel flow meter is used to indicate the amount of fuel that has been dispensed in that particular instance, as well as usually having a non-resettable totaliser to show what has been used overtime.
What does a diesel flow meter measure?
A diesel fuel flow meter counts the amount of fuel transferred in that particular transaction so that the user knows how much they have dispensed into the vehicle or machinery. An AdBlue™ flow meter measures the amount of AdBlue transferred, and a heating oil meter is used to measure the total quantity of oil consumed by the heating system overtime.

Where do I install a flow meter?
Fuel flow meters, will always be installed on the outlet/dispensing side of your pump to identify how much fuel has passed through it.
