Diesel Flow Meters
Diesel fuel counters from Piusi, Fillrite & GPI
Diesel flow meters are often utilised within fuel transfer pump installations to count the amount of diesel that has been dispensed into the vehicle when refuelling. The products in the diesel flow meter range from Italian manufacturer Piusi are known for their accurate results when used within a non-resale, fuel transfer environment. When making your purchase decision, it is important to consider the flow rate capacity you require the meter to deal with, and the display type of the flow meter to ensure that it best suits your application. For advice on selecting a diesel flow meter please contact our sales team or alternatively read our diesel flow meter guide.

FAQs
A diesel fuel flow meter, also referred to as a fuel counter, is used to measure the quantity of fluid that has been moved during the transfer or dispensing process. They have a visual display, which can be either mechanical or digital, for the user to read off the measurement. In the instance of a refuelling application, the diesel fuel flow meter is used to indicate the amount of fuel that has been dispensed in that particular instance, as well as usually having a non-resettable totaliser to show what has been used overtime.
A diesel fuel flow meter counts the amount of fuel transferred in that particular transaction so that the user knows how much they have dispensed into the vehicle or machinery. An AdBlue™ flow meter measures the amount of AdBlue transferred, and a heating oil meter is used to measure the total quantity of oil consumed by the heating system overtime.
When picking a suitable nozzle and flow meter to go with your fuel transfer pump, you need to make sure they are compatible with the fluid you are pumping and that it can cope with the flow rate your pump will be working at.
